  • Young Adults

    Our Young Adults Division is for young Jewish adults in Columbia! We invite Jewish professionals in their 20s, 30s and early 40s to take part in leadership, community building, cultural, social and philanthropic activities.

  • PJ Library

    In Columbia, PJ Library is provided by the Federation and key funders to provide amazing Jewish books and cultural programming to your kids. Nationally, PJ Library is a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.

  • Columbia Holocaust Education Commission

    To inspire South Carolinians to remember and to learn from the Holocaust, the Commission is dedicated to promoting awareness of the Columbia Holocaust Memorial Monument and fostering Holocaust education.

Community Support

We provide financial support to the spectrum of Jewish organizations serving the Midlands, including the religious schools of our local synagogues; Hillel at the University of South Carolina; the Columbia Jewish Day School and the University of South Carolina Alpha Epsilon Pi chapter.

A Focus On Education

CJF runs the PJ Library program for young children, hosts the Columbia Holocaust Education Commission, features a thriving Young Adult Division and welcomes brand-new members of the community with the Shalom Baby! program.

Helping Those In Need

The Columbia Jewish Federation also houses Jewish Family Service, which provides a full range of social services and support to Jewish households facing hardship.
